My story behind the site

Hello, this site is one of the first e-flower websites that appeared on the web during the mid 1990's explosion of dot coms!

Fortunately it's still one of the only e-flower sites that will attach and send your choice of flower directly to your destination e-mail address. The recipient is not required to follow any link, or come back to the site having to enter a code to see their flower.

If you recall that era in dot com history, getting a website listed on Yahoo's Pick of the Day (March 28, 1997), or Netscape's What's New (April 4th - 9th, 1997) was a big deal.  And, this website being covered in Cosmopolitan Magazine (Oct 1997), Teen People (June/July 1999), as well as various other magazines, newspapers, radio shows and website referrals, has helped secure this website's place in the history of the Internet.

Since then, I've chosen to keep this site as simple as the day it was launched. I'm not after trying to charge money for sending a flower, or to place pop-up ads all over your screen. Goal => Keeping it simple.

Anyway, for those who might recall the original launch of the site... this was one of my personal "pet" projects. A time when money was tight, and I had met this girl whom I wanted to send flowers to. I made a quick decision and chose to scan a photo of flowers and e-mail it to her.

It's been many years and I don't recall the exact details but I do recall she was surprised and thrilled. However, I never made it to a date with her. Perhaps I was too busy as the following three weeks were spent creating and building this website!
